Sage grows in the wild here too... it's a lovely subtle herb to use.

My neighbours who are from Trabzon in Turkey make a delicious tea from sage leaves, They call it mountain tea, they just boil them up for 3/4 minutes, strain and serve. Lovely delicate flavour, and supposedly very good for you too. They grow it in their garden. Mine lives in a pot on my balcony.

Hi Johnylee, can you please contact me of board as this is unrelated to your topic and I don't want to hijack it barbcyprus@gmail.com, it is related to a charity event, thank you.

Sage - adaçay you will find its bushes in the mountains (most likely to find). Last autumn I went to pick up some. I still have a jar. The best local medicine for cold, and great to make you feel warm, specially if you add to sage tea Tilia leaves (tr. Ihlamur). In Greece sage/adacay is known as a "winter tea"

Sage can grow in many places. Adacay surely translates as Island tea! I always have to bring packets

back home with me as my son claims it is very beneficial to him. Good for digestive system also.
