Hey everyone,

This will be our first Christmas in Cyprus. Just wondered if anyone knew of any christmassy events that get held, either North or South, that would be good to visit/do as a family during the Christmas build up? Is there somewhere we can visit Santa? Are there any places with nice Christmas lights or displays to visit, perhaps in the South? Just trying to get organised - it will be a very different affair this year!

Thanks for your suggestions! We are happy to travel South if anyone knows of nice things to do there.

Thanks so much!

Emma x

Saturday 3rd December in the morning, KAR has a bazaar at Teachers Hotel from 10 onwards, and in Pia Bella the NCCCT hav e their bazaar from 11a.m. where Santa will be giving kids a pressie. Well, clever Santa will be at both! wow! So come to both, grab a bargain , a mince pie and give the kids the chance to feel that Christmas is real. Then of course there may bwell be a Carol, Service in St.Andrews Church, and I think there are some other carol sing songs. 112 has got one, but think they are sold out and it is more for adults. Take a look at the events pages of both Cyprus today and Cyprus Star, to find out more.

good luck in the search. Hope you and yo0u8r family have a truly happy Christmas. Of course if you go South to the shopping malls, it is a Christian Country so lots of things to see.

Good question. I know sometimes the square in Kyrenia is alive with the sound of school children caorl singing, but I know no more than that. the Belediye office in town would know!

Maybe someone like Alex main would know about Ozankoy?
