I live a fair way from the pork shop but I know that it is popular with many people. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if they sell pork offal such as hearts etc and maybe the trotters and pigs heads?

Thank you.

They don't because "we don't ask for them" is what I was told. You can't even buy hocks, never mind trotters.

Maybe you could phone them and request they keep some for you? I don't know their number though, perhaps in the Buzz Book or 192.

I want to buy some trotters but won't pay that much. Somone have a word with him.

Makes you wonder what he did with them before - fed them to his dogs?

I had some trotters frpm there last year to make a "Pea and Ham Soup"

There was NO MEAT on the trotters at all ! They didn't do hocks either

so I had to buy some smoked ham which was not the same !

We had a lovely joint of pork for today from the pork shop.

It cost 38tl, fed four adults and a 7year old, and there is enough left for tomorrow.

Can't fault this shop.

Message 10 - TRNC vaughan

I like them to eat myself, but actually wanted them for my dog (she is raw fed only), but I can get a sheeps head for 5tl which has lots of meat, tongue brain etc - they can keep their old trotters!!
