| Sorry if this has been covered previously but may I ask a question to those who may know.
If one had an HSBC account in the UK and also an account with HSBC in the TRNC then are money transfers free i.e: transferring larger ammounts of money back to my HSBC account in the uk.
I do have an account with another bank in the TRNC but the costs appear to be very excessive. Many thanks. |

I am in the same position and Have been charged £30 for each transaction in the £10,000 to £20,000 bracket.
I am a Premier Customer.

| Hi I am Premier HSBC & was assured by HSBC UK that I could transfer on the internet to my HSBC Girne a/c free of charge - however HSBC Turkey applied charges at a later date which obviously HSBC UK had no control over and were not able to refund.
However now I use telephone banking to transfer from UK to Cyprus which is definitely free and I have been informed by Julie at HSBC Girne that she can transfer free in the other direction although I have had not had any direct experience of doing this yet. |

| You should not be charged from premier to premier.
This happened to me at Girne and the charge was taken 2 months after the transaction.
When I asked them what it was for they said it was the transfer.
I told them I DON`T THINK SO...........they had a chat amongst themselves ( Julie wasn`t there at the time ) and they reversed the charge.
Wyn, If was premier to premier you want to query it with them.
