ronaldo

There have been storms on and off for the last few days but as usual they were localised, we took the brunt of some of the storms here in Alsancak but others had them when we didn't. If your Villa/Apartment is in Esenteppe then hopefully anyone in that area will be able to confirm that everything is ok. I have not heard of anyone that has suffered damage and I don't think the storms were that dramatic.

Hi Ron

Some friends up around pool 1 lost their wooden pergola last night - thankfully SM informed them and sent photographic evidence to show the damage and they are fixing it for them. The whole wooden pergola above their main terrace blew down taking one of the outside lights with it and damaging the other. They were very upset after receiving this news but are glad it is being sorted out for them. Have heard others have had damage too but not sure who else has suffered

re mess 11 - probably due to shoddy construction rather than the severity of the storm.

If you can see Turkey is is a sign that there will be a cold northerly wind in about 3 days.

Uhmm not sure Nick about that. They are on a corner that gets the brunt of the weather and when we were there in May it was incredibly windy on their terrace and they have sail cloth which probably acted like a parachute.
