I've taken delivery of a new laptop with Vista (something to keep me amused over the long winter nights) and having difficulty installing Office 2003, is there anyone that can help.

Hope you've got plenty of RAM on that laptop, Vista is so full of bells and whistles that if you've only got 500 mg it will be as slow as the Kavanlar apartments being built.

Hi Maddie,

If it's a copy, you could have problems

when you want to use Windows Update.

Might be better getting a loan of an original + key code.

Don't have Vista so can't point you in the right direction :-(

Good luck

My wife had Vista on her laptop, its a Dell (Yes, I know) had Vista installed but only 500mg ram. It was as slow as a carthorse.

We installed a further gig of ram and its okay now but i personally much prefer Windows XP.

if its a copy ,switch off your protection before you install it ,then put it on after this usually helps.

More info would be good.

Have you tried to install and having problems?

Do you have the serial key?

Give as much detail as possible.

If you have Office 2007, I can crack that in 5 mins!!!

Hi Andy, I have the key and I believe it's the professional version.

If I could get 2007 I would install it but too pricey for me at the moment.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
