I was just beginning to answer a post of Lemtich in a certain (non-offensive) thread when I read this: "This thread is now closed by a moderator". No reason given, just cut off, finished. By "a moderator". Hmmm.

Well, Lem, here's your answer in a new thread. You wrote: "Cyprus44 Moderators and lightbulbs". I find it very difficult to even imagine a connection between moderators and light. I think they have not seen the light yet...

RE msg 2, Nigel : (...) As a good catholic hans (...)

===> Now THIS is offensive. You KNOW that I'm a follower of Li-Pin Chao (c. 543 - 603).

RE msg 4, Harold2555/Paul : (...) Who is was this venerable prophet that you follow? (...)

===> Sorry, Paul. It's not allowed to enlighten Brits about the great Li-Pin Chao (c. 543 - 603). That's also the reason you will not find any information with a Google search in English. Try the Finnish version of Google if you are really interested.

Hans

What a terrible shame. Nevertheless we shall learn of his doctrine through the actions of his followers perhaps?

You will probably find in anycase that you've got it all wrong and that the venerable master was really British but just born in the wrong place. You should know by now that all the worlds great people were British.

what is foxyproxy?

FoxyProxy is a free, open-source advanced proxy management tool that completely replaces Firefox's limited proxying capabilities.

FoxyProxy automatically switches an internet connection across one or more proxy servers based on URL patterns. Put simply, FoxyProxy automates the manual process of editing Firefox's Connection Settings dialog. Proxy server switching occurs based on the loading URL and the switching rules you define. Animated icons show you when a proxy is in use. Advanced logging shows you which proxies were used and when. QuickAdd makes it a snap to create new URL patterns on-the-fly. FoxyProxy is fully compatible with Portable Firefox, has better support for PAC files than Firefox itself, and is translated into more than 25 languages.

* Want fine-grained control over which websites load through proxies?

* Live in Belarus, Burma, China, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkmenistan Uzbekistan, Vie

The headline for this thread is 'The future of this board.' The twaddle that has ensued sums up the answer. Damn shame.
