mobile phone relay towers,advise needed

we are planning to buy a piece of land and there is a mobile phone relay tower about 500 meters away and its about 10 meters high .i have heard that they cause all sorts of health problems ,can anyone please advise us

For:Molecular toxicologist Dr David de Pomerai is researching the alternative effects of the masts by exposing microscopic worms to microwaves.

"Research is going on abroad and they have all come to the same conclusion - there is no evidence of harm."

Like the 23 other research projects in the UK, Dr de Pomerai and his team have so far been unable to find any evidence to connect cancer or any other illness with proximity to phone masts

Against: A mobile phone company is to remove a mast from a block of flats after seven residents were struck down by cancer.

Three have died and another four have battled the disease since two masts were erected on the roof of the five-storey block which has become known locally as the Tower of Doom.

Here's the thing... as long as you are the safe distance away from the microwave emitting part of any wireless telecomms system (a few feet) as a mobile phone user you are actually better off close to one than for your network than farther away.... not many people know this. Here's why.... the part of the system closest to you and from which microwaves are also emitted is your mobile phone... the further away from a mast you are the harder it has to work to reach the mast and therefore using an algorithm based on signal strength intelligently your handset ups the power if the signals between phone and mast are weak... hence the closer to the mast (albeit it must be one for your network) you are the lower the power of waves the phone emits.

Mobile phone systems have been in use since 1985 with a worldwide footprint covering many millions of people and yet there is no evidence of any increase in any illness to indicate any problems connected with their use.
