A couple of times on trips back to the UK I have been upgraded free from a golf to a New Passat, WOW what a car.



Just did not like the electronic handbrake, until I got used to it.



Always found golf a bit boring preffered water ski-ing.

When i worked we went to a presentation of the new Golf in Milton Keynes @VW test drove the car etc

The office bound presentation then showed how they were competing with the agreed market leader ( by VW)

The Ford focus there was the comparison power point they had matched this feature and that benefit

Only problem was that the newer and improved Focus was out two months latter so the Golf was back behind again
