| A few months ago, there was an article written saying (or so i thought) that if a solution to the "Cyprob" wasnt found before Southern Cyprus takes the floating presidency for six months. Then Turkey will sever all trading, with Europe. I have just read (or so i know) that, what Turkey actually said was. They will carry on their trading with Europe. But will not sit at the same table as Southern Cyprus. As Turkeys current export trade, consists of 60% to Europe. And the middle East market is contracting.I think that Turkey needs to watch that it doesnt shoot itself in the foot here. It goes back to the old one,of who needs who,Turkey Europe,Europe,Turkey. At this moment in time,i would say that they both need each other. Its all well and good posting good figures, the secret is to posting them again, and again.Lets see which way Turkey lean come July.Eight months is a long time in politics.40 years,is even longer. And thats how long Turkey have been trying to get in the club, Paul. |

| Paul, do you think, given recent events in Europe, that Turkey still want an 'in'? |
