According to Sir Alex, protecting his face....

Well it could have done £5,000 worth of improvements!

Part of a Liverpool Echo article

"The feelings of the crowd were summed up on the final whistle when some chose to boo, others chanted about being top of the league, but the vast majority quietly filtered away wondering what to make of the game they had just seen."

Hardly being booed off the pitch Paul ?

Groucho, i think Rolando could do with some transplants as well as improvements , perhaps another pair of legs as he cant seem to stand up on the pair he's got!!

PS. i dont think the ball would have reached Sir Alex's face !

Paul, my mate is a season ticket holder and he was very disappointed with both the game and the "bit of booing" as he put it.

I am not a Liverpool fan Andy but just making observations.

Its also interesting to note Keane £20m = 4 goals, Berbatov £30m = 6goals

Both are very much overpriced me thinks ?

they are all over priced trev , its ridiculous when governments all over the world are bailing banks and big companys out and football clubs are still spending huge amounts on player transfares. the sky money will start to decrease as they are expierencing more cancelations than they are getting new customers( i know im in the trade)

I was listening to Talksport on the way home tonight and it was interesting to listen to Stan Collymore getting very passionate about the lower league clubs getting a s**t deal from all the money in football, he like you Andy predicts the whole thing will go belly up and soon.

Turtle what you have to remember is all the while four players are trying to keep an eye on the likes of Berbatov he's doing his job...whether or not he's the one actually scoring..

Still think they are overpaid prima-donnas though....

Personally I watch less and less premier games now, as an ex ref I find it hard to take that this great game is being turned into a peep show with so much cheating, bad sportsmanship and total lack of respect from the players and the hardest thing for me is it all goes unpunished.

Its more of a fashion show than football, oh blimey you've got me going now.

Guys,

Couldnt agree more re-over payed players. The theatrics and money will come back to haunt the premier league.Just like it has in Italy. The championship now commands bigger crowds then Serie A.Watch how the players behave in Rugby League and use them as role models. And bring in the sin bin,

Paul.

Hi Paul

Fickle fans I dont think so ! they were poor on monday night but still managed to gain a point ! Yes 1 point more than the pretenders down the road ? still eight points clear and only 22 days to Christmas. What a christmas present to the City of Culture to be top of the League.

Best Regards p.S Well done to Burnley
