r u english or turkish musician? if you r turkish musician then you'll stay hungry since no place pays good money for turkish live music now. you can count on the customer's tips only. if you r english then u can easily find places who accept an english singer using a karaoke machine so easy since a lot of places r practicing these now just go to some english cafes, bars, restaurant and offer yourself

Do a demo CD and take it to the bars and restaurants, that is how most seem to do it apparently.

Okey, it seems you dont know what u talking about.

Avarage Turkish (doing turkish staff) group gets at least 200TL per head for a show.

There are bands gets up to 400 TL per head.

Believe me, I am in the business, I know the prices...

i can tell you now......a band of 4 musicians do NOT get 400l per head.

bands get between 400 - 600 tl

solo artists get between 100tl and 400tl.fact

if you know anywhere that will pay 1600tl for a band,my band will play for 1200tl,every night of the week ,if you like!!!

revolver which restaurant owner r u? i am also in the business n my ex place paid 250 TL for 1 show in weekend total it paid 1000 since there is only 4 weekends in a month that doesnt cover rent houses n live expenses n so much desperate musicians who r willing 2 work 4 50 TL one night.

Iam bar owner solo performer 200tl duo 300tl maybe 350tl thats the norm ,and a band 450tl -500tl

yeah bluebutterfly is right. so much rest/bar owner dont want 4 the musician like what happened 2 mw when i worked in white rose rest. in güzelyurt. that SOB boss didnt pay till now he owes me 1000 TL n still he has a face to walk down the street n call himself a man
