He has been living in the Polar Restaurant (I know this name is out of date but I forgot to note the current name)

for some time now.

I went with a friend yesterday and found him sitting up in bed, fully dressed to keep out the cold, watching a TV.

His legs are weak these days and it is difficult for him to get out.

He has a carer who comes in twice a week to do his washing and ironing, and some shopping for him.

He gets fed by the restaurant twice a day, but apart from this he is alone.

I would ask his old friends when they are passing Polar, to call in for five minutes, he will be pleased to see you.

He can be found in the accommodation block at the back. The second door from the right, which has a number 3 on it. He likes to read real life crime books and any English newspapers you have.

The (Polar restaurant) is on the Girne /Essentepe road. Heading towards Essentepe, it is on the right hand side right next to the Mos Restaurant about a mile out of Girne. Not sure if this in Ozankoy or Karakum.

His apartment is on the ground floor. Number 3 is on the door.
