Why when you are half way through a court case and the judges rotate (July) do you get another judge and have to start from scratch, isn't this a waste of time and why do they not read the previous judges court papers???

Who Knows? All one can say is that it is a very chaotic and unsatisfactory way of dealing with cases? Certainly can't lead to better time management or consistency in approach. Perhaps it simply increases expenditure, mostly yours, keeps people in jobs? Its does appear a bit of a hobby for the TRNC making people attend again and again, even though most wait years to get to court in the first place! Jobs for the boys?

Yes you are so right, but wouldn't you have thought that they would learn that if they deal with the cases quickly then they wouldn't have such a back log, ensuring that court cases do not have to wait years to get to court. Just don't get it, if you have sat on a case for nearly a year then it comes to a Judge rotation then why do you start all over again with a new Judge!!
