Does anyone know how you get a Police Criminal Records check/form in the TRNC. I have applied for a job in France and they have asked for one.

We were told by Girne police to go to Lefkosa Police, as it was quicker. A nice policeman helped us in the reception area to fill in the form and then we popped along to the corridor where they do the in and outs. Within 24 hours we collected it. Not sure what paper work was required as we had passport, two photos, in and outs, muhtar's letter, stamps, contract, letter stating we were married.

I will not be back in the TRNC until after Christmas and whereas I had a residence permit my daughter did not as she was at school and did not need one and she also has been told to obtain a Police record check. It all sounds difficult, as ever.

it was actually very simple and hubby collected the paperwork the following day by himself. The hardest part is filling in the form correctly but we were lucky as i said
