Is that one of our (TRNC) phone numbers. I don't recognise it?

Phone Prue Lundy of the BRS as she has the blood donor data base. You will need the child's name, age, blood group and the name of the hospital she is in. 0392 822 2546

Re: Msgs 1&7,

I find it very interesting that the OP amongst other things advertises here an employment agency, dating agency, estate agency, cooking lessons, language lessons and now is resolved into a phone scam under the pretence of donor blood!

the forum admin must be a little sleepy at this time of day to let things like this pass. i just hoped no one called the number. my mother in law got hit with a scam like this not to long ago, they were claiming to be a charity collecting for some sort of desaster in a text messege, she called back and was hit with 50gbp on her mobile phone balance. she will not be helping or returning any call to charitys or crys for help..

it is sad these crooked people who do these scam things, that will effect the real people in need of help in the future, as evry one will be scared of getting robbed, screwed, done over, what ever you like to call it..

The original poster was probably as unaware of the scam as those reading the posts. Sad but true, you have to investigate these calls for help because there are just too many scams doing the rounds. Not just the TRNC but the world over.

Clarrissa, this is a scam so there isn't a child in desperate need of blood, it is some horrible person trying to make a profit from peoples generosity (eg premium rate phone numbers )

I cannot believe that someone could do this.

It does not get much lower. This sort of thing should carry a very strong puishment.

I do not understand I.T. and the internet. But surely this sort of thing can be traced.
