My soda crystals have gone hard and stuck together. Can anyone suggest how I can return them to normal. I have tried putting them into an extra bag and throwing them on the floor.

The ones I bought (from Mr. Pounds) were hard when I got them. Couldn't be bothered to take them back and anyway inevitable as packaging wasnt waterproof. Knocked off small pieces by banging on work surface and dissolved the pieces in hot water before using.

Wrap the bag in a towel and then bash them with a hammer - the towel should stop the bag bursting and their going everywhere.
