Boy suffers heart attack after horrific assault

Could be one Britain's worst ever child abuse cases







A man and a woman have been arrested after one-month-old baby was allegedly raped and battered.



The tiny child had a heart attack brought on by his injuries and is fighting for his life.



He was rushed to Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent, on Thursday at 7am, but was transferred to London's King's College Hospital after having a cardiac arrest there.

WHAT??????????? They should be locked up, with a room full of other prisoners who will soon concentrate their minds (prisoners have a distorted moral compass, but in this context, these two would soon be in a world of hurt, much like their poor defenceless victim)

I agree it is a very distressing story - but why is it on our Cyprus site?? Most of us are quite capable of reading UK press releases / e-newspapers etc and we could easily fill up the Cyprus forum with dozens of equally distressing or deserving press articles every day.



I sympathise with what's happening in UK / around the world (and quite happy to read the papers to do that) but let's try and keep it local....

( even though it is probably not lost ) or how much an over priced Sunday lunch is at an Indian restaurant on the 25 th of December !

Part of my job before I retired was to deliver Child Protection Training to various organisations, and to assist the police in interviewing children with learning disabilities who had been abused, some of the case history that I had to read and hear made me wonder how people could be so evil, it was gut wrenching.

The justice system needs to deal with these people in such a way that anyone else with any thought of abusing a child is terrified, but sadly it won't happen, nobody will accept responsibility for the short comings that allow these children to suffer as they do.

I read the story earlier and I was sick to the core, now to hear they have been released is even more sickening. I pray the evil bxxxxxxs get karma and soon. How could any woman do this to any child and let it happen is beyond me. Pray the baby recovers.

What an outrage to get bail, but hey they have rights!!!!! Acts like this are going on every day un-noticed. The answer is simple our joke of a justice system needs to toughen up. The UK is a soft touch with the law, immigration, and the PC brigade

This makes me feel physically sick. How can anyone do this to a one month old baby! And how on earth can they be released on bail!! Bring back corporal punishment. It is stories like this that make me glad I gave up my legal career. There is no justice anymore. I hope the "Facebook vigilantes" find those two evil people.
