There are a number of places in the South. Upstairs in Carrefour at Engomi (the one in Carrefour at Cyprus Mall has recently closed). Germanos(?), they have a stand in the Engomi Mall and a shop on the ground floor opposite Carrefour in Cyprus Mall. Electroline - numerous shops, one in Nicosia Centre, one turning left at Orphanides crossroads about 1km on right hand side and one on the dual carriageway opposite Super Home Centre near Cyprus Mall. You are probably looking at over 230 Euros for the Wii sports package (console, controller & sports game). Cheaper to get someone to bring one over from UK, if they can get their hands on it, it was virtually impossible to get in UK last Christmas.

Opposite the old Lemar, there is a DVD shop, next to a kebab house, and they had the Wii in stock a few weeks ago too!

Walk up Ledra Street from the crossing, at the end of the pedestrianised area, cross over at the lights, go over the bridge and go across at the next set of lights - straight ahead all the way. Electroline is on the left just before the next set of lights. You may also find that Play in Ledra Street sell them too. Only problem is that you will have to come back across to the North, will the officials at the border be interested in your purchase?

LTS.

They obviously don't know what a Wii is yet... they would rather let you through than demonstrate their lack of knowledge...

This is a common trait in officialdom the world over;¬)

We went Wii shopping over the south on Monday. The cheapest we saw was €250 for the console and sports package. That was in a big store called Jumbo I think its name is. The big childrens shop. The Fit game is €99 but we never actually saw one anywhere and was told they are like rocking horse poo to get hold of at the moment over there. Hence we didnt get one as its only the Fit game that we want

We bought a Wii Fit from Germanos in the Engomi Mall about a month ago (99 Euros), they have a shop opposite Carrefour in The Mall of Cyprus too. You could also try upstairs in Carrefour at Engomi or Public at Cyprus Mall or any of the Electroline shops mentioned in my previous post.

chipping your wii does have its risks, its much better so 'soft-mod' your wii.

ive already soft-modded my wii. this allows me to download games off the internet for my wii, and i can also make backup copies of wii games.

it only takes 5 minutes to soft-mod a Nintendo Wii, and there are NO risks whatsoever in doing so.

anyone interested in getting their wii soft-modded?
