A while back a survey was carried out to find out what happened to the post that never arrived here, was there any conclusion to it? Just lately we have had real problems with Lapta post office, letters have been sent from the UK but despite asking at the post office on a regular basis they didn't arrive, or else they are lost somewhere in the post office here. A couple of times I have been in to enquire about post only to be told there isn't any, for instance last week I went in on Tuesday, was told no, nothing for you, then on Friday December 2nd a card was delivered, sent by air mail from UK, it had the stamp on for Lapta dated 26th November. I know it's a long standing problem but I have to wonder where the problem really lies.

Are there less problems with the post if you have a P.O.box ?

@ msg 1, hattikins: I seem to remember that some time ago the BRS reported on this mainly British expat problem. Maybe it's still on the BRS web site or you could contact one of the members of the BRS committee. If you don't have contact numbers I can help you.

I think it is a mainly British problem as we regularly get bank statements delivered through German mail company but orginating in the UK.
