Stringfellas in Baris, Park Sunday 18th December

Stringfellas are pleased to announce they have been invited to perform in Baris, Park at the Girne Christmas Festival on Sunday 18th December. The annual festival is a three day attraction for all of the family starting on Friday 16th December and finishing on Sunday evening with a firework display. Further details of exact timings and other events during the three day festival will follow.

This is great news as we really enjoyed the Serdar Tuksal band at the amphitheatre in September. Will they be performing on the same day as Stringfellas, December 18th and will it be afternoon or evening? We live out Esentepe way, so it would help to have this information.

Without taking anything away from Stringfellows I also would like to know further details about when Serdar and his band are playing. A great band and Serdar is a great saxophonist.

AJ, Why don't you come up to Hoot's on a Tuesday night and join us all with Stringfellas and all the other super people that play music and sing for us all.Boy,did they rock last night,what a super night it was.I alway's come home feeling uplifted after a night at Hoot's.

All the Hoot's ladies love Serda ,should be a great three nights.As Stringfellas no 1 FAN i will be there rocking in the park.Ye Haaaaaaaaa

I keep meaning to pop up to Hoots sometime and now my favorite location (Black Olive cafe) is (as far as the 'open mic night' is concerned) not going to be opening their garden until the winter is over, I need to get my weekly fix of live music. I am also involved in a music workshop on a Monday so if anyone at Hoots wants to come along then the more the merrier.

So Stringfellas, Serdar, Kismet and many (well, some!) more will all be on the same date.

Msg 3 As far as we know at the moment Serdar will be performing at approx 10.00pm on Saturday 17th December. Yes it will now be a one day event, not three days as previously indicated. As this is now the case the programme of events and more specific timings will shortly be released by the organisers.
