| I have a lift from Dipkarpaz to Famagusta or to Nicosia and then need to go to Larnaca airport. Nicosia is easy, we can just walk across and then take the bus, but of course its much further to travel. Famagusta is so much shorter distance.
Taxi, bus - does anybody know, what can be done??
Travelling on 16.12.11 and need to be in Larnaca at 5.30 - 6.00pm |

If you decide to go via Famagusta, then local Sur car taxi will be the best option for Larnaca - and yes, it's cheaper and faster and less tiring that way. |

| Im always traveling with Iskele taxi driver, he is trustful, knows English and everybody know him at the Famagusta border (Greeks and Turks). Last time I used his service in June and I paid 80TL for taking me from Larnaca airport to Bogaz  He has new cars with climate and very comfortable!

| £30 sterling seems to be about the average ONE-WAY taxi fare Gazimagusa - Larnace airfield.
When coming back expect to have a surcharge added on IF your plane is late coming in.

| I didn't realise Sur did Taxis. Most in the Bogaz area seem to use Hasmet as per message 3, so thank you Clarissa for the update. |

Sur does airport transfers to/from Larnaca, but not the taxis around Bogaz area. |

| Go straight to Hasmet and avoid the middle man. Sur are a very good Car Hire company, but have no taxis. |
