Found little black worms in the running water this morning. Obviously the tank has become contaminated somehow. Any suggestions on what to do to treat the problem please?

Don't pick the soap up if you drop it !!!!

If you have a metal tank change it for a plastic one as lids will seal tight. Sounds like they could be Mosquito lava.

Good luck.
