Baris Park...Christmas in the Park.. 17Dec2011



Mayor Sumer Aygin is hosting a Party in the Park (Baris Park) for one day on 17th December and this will follow the format of last year...



There will be various charity stalls (there are still some available free to charites) and food and drinks stalls. Entertainment will be provided by.... Kismet, Festival Linedancers, Girne Municipality Folk Dancers, Phoenix Linedancers and the evening will close with music provided by Stringfellas followed by and returning by public demand, the Serdar Tuksal Band and it is hoped that if there are no high winds, a fireworks display.



Maggie White will try and keep order and Father Christmas will visit riding on the back of a Harley Davidson motorbike, the afternoon is scheduled to start at 1400hrs, and firm detail will be confirmed on Monday.



Entry is free... this is a free show all you pay for is your food and drink and what ever you spend on the charity stall who will welcome your supoort.

Are the stalls only available to charities or can anyone book one?

We have lots of christmas fayre that we would like to bring to the festival.

Hi atumpy. Baris park is next to the fountain roundabout in girne or the wednesday market.
