| Indeed. Totally wrong and probably half as many missing! The results were in yesterday's Kıbrıs paper too. But I believe many TCs fell on the floor laughing at the announcement - 10% rise since 2006? Or 2% more people living on the island every year? Considering the current birth rate that figure hardly leaves hardly any room for all the legal emigrants that have been imported to work in dozens of new hotels, casinos and businesses - never mind the illegal ones! What a farce |

| I have to say I agree with you bigoz, what a complete waste of time and money. We had two people to count two of us. So assuming they stayed together the whole day whilst counting, it cost the taxpayer double what it needed to just to count us, then mulitply it by all the others they saw as a duo. Never mind, if things continue the way they are, they'll both retire very young on a superb pension. |
