You form a local company, become a director. lodge 100,000 dollars in the bank short term..... then permanantly lodge 15,000 TL as security against revenue debt calculated, then you have a business,,,,,,, it`s expensive but thats what you do, you have to be legal when you work here or you could run into problems,,,, my advice is dont do it any other way,,,,,,,,

Al August Jnr.....

you would risk having your equipment taken and or more serius problems.......

As you can see from this thread , it isn't the advertiser bringing the topic back , as the advertiser has had his posting rights withdrawn for a few weeks for breaking the rules , but he has used an alter ego to keep it going , nice try agustal { blueeyes }

NO your wrong thinking that.........say I am opening a Bar for example trading under the local company, say the company is also registered as an entertainments company,,,,,,,,, it would by LAW have to pay TAX on any revienue it obtains for providing enetertainment,,,,,,, as well as pay tax for any revenue it would create at the bar.......... people here think that they can come here and not pay revenue on earnings,,, why think that just because you are in a different country...... if you did that in the UK it`s classed as TAX avasion..... the TRNC government are entitled to revenue from anyone working here,,,, you just have to be honest with them thats all.......... I think it`s well worth paying TAX for this better way of life,,, and may I say, pay a lot less tax than in the UK........ but the answer to your question is "NO" you cant work for my company without a Work permit, but you can form a local entertainment company work at my Bar and invoice me in the company name, PAY TAX ??

Put all the politics of the forum aside, and come along to the Yellow Orchid tonight 17th and watch Al August perform. If his past shows are anything to go by you will have a great night out.

Just one week to Christmas, start enjoying this Festive Season.

A Merry Christmas to all members.
