I have started to notice some grey hair coming through on the front of my head, its not much and does not really show in my black hair, but its certainly on its way. When i first noticed it i did a bit of research and they say there are ways to stop it or in some cases even turn it black again, with amla powder being the best one, it is also said that people in asia rub lemon juice and coconut oil into there scalp everyday and some have black hair into there seventies, i even read rubbing your finger nails together can stimulate your hair and keep your colour. If i have to get the just for men out in five years so be it, but i was wondering if anyone has tried any of these methods to stop greying, or slow the process down. I find it hard to believe you can turn grey hair back to its original colour.

That's what my sister said, but if it can be prevented i would do it, they say that even a strong tea with a table spoon of salt rubbed on the scalp everyday will stop greys and hair loss. I'm not going bald myself but i'm surprised they say these methods actually work.

No chance i have a good head of hair, in five years i'll just dye my ed milliband white spot. Has no one tried these methods, amla is very common especially for women.

Dye all the head hair grey and look distinguished. When the rich pattern of life pays you the final ignomy of grey hair at the crutch you will only need a string of pearls to complement your twin set !

lol, i had not thought of that one. When i go grey i'm going to dye it, lots of men do it these days. I'm going to use coconut oil and lemon, nice and cheap, nothing to lose.

I've had grey hair since my early teens. Used to dye it for about a year but then let it grow through. People pay a fortune to dye their hair the colour that I have naturally. Let it grow, especially in men, it looks rather distinguished.

Ailetoo. That is very true. The Wildebeest (bless her) many years ago used to dye her hair so that increasing numbers of grey roots did not show. I convinced her to simply let the grey grow through. Nowadays it is a haircut only and there are many compliments received for the healthy looking ash blonde colour. This gives her many a smile as even members of our family think it must have come from a bottle and the sheen from an aerosol, but they are wrong.

I'm almost jet black so if it goes grey just for men will be easy. I'm being a bit of a tart really over about twenty grey hairs, that must have been upsetting going grey in your early teens, are you sure it was that young.

Steve

Get a grip man, I have grey hairs on the the sides of my hair and I have had a lot of compliments from women (without being prompted) about how distinguished I look. Mind you that might have also something to do with the bulging wallet in my pocket

Even more, there are loads. The goosberry is indian goosberry which is amla, that's the one they reckon can reverse grey hair, as well as onion paste.

Do not forget the Garlic paste as that will solve your problems for once and for all, In fact the women will not come any where near you so they will not notice your 4 or 5 grey hairs.

Msg. 12

When I made my Communion (age 7) I had plenty of grey hairs already showing in my jet black hair. I think it's a celtic thing. By 14 I was a lovely salt and pepper colour. It really fit in well with my ultra hippie image. Now it is white and I often get asked who colours my hair. I, for one could not be bothered with the hassle of constantly dying my hair.

On the advert it says it only dyes the grey's, so you need to find your natural colour. I'm not 100% sure but i think its for people with under 5o % grey, not sure if its what you would use if your grey all over. Also don't understand why it's not for women.

Ailletoo

The grey hairs i have look like they are going to streak with time, not salt and peper, seven are you on a wind up.

Grey hair can look very distinguished. Also an actor called Jeff Chandler had grey hair from a very young age and he was gorgeous, but I think you might have to google him as you are probably too young to know wh he was.
