Just changed sterling into TL and received 2.90 tl and I thought it was going to get stronger against the sterling.

TL's been weak since about 3rd week of August. I suspect that the Turkish Central bank may take some action on this when they next meet later this month. It will be interesting to see what they do? Lower interest rates, coupled with higher inflation are not working anymore & their currency is now too weak.
