I'm tired of your excuses.

I paid for 2mb download with Nethouse and I have to say that most the time I do get that. The problem I have is that in the busy times, evenings mainly, I have trouble streaming media. It still shows as 1.5 - 2mb download, but streams that run under 1mb keep buffering.

As I say its fine in the morning so it must be down to a lot of traffic in the evenings - but how can it still show a good speed but not stream ok?

Anyone know?

It all depends on the type of speed test you are doing. If you use one of the many speed tests on the internet then you are only getting a snapshot of your actual speed. You would need to do a sustained test i.e. moving a 1Gb+ file from one server to another to find out what sustained speed you have. Also you could be testing the speed from your connection to a local server which will give better results. I assume the media you are streaming is from England and therefore you would need to test the speed from your connection to the English server you are connecting to. Finally it is possible that the server you are streaming from might be much busier in the evenings and is therefore struggling to match the demand (either the server itself or the servers bandwidth might be overloaded) of course you can do nothing about this. I hope this helps, well at least doesn't confuse you.

Sorry Nethouse, have just left you. At 80TL a month for 4Mb ADSL compared to 250TL a year for 4Mb ADSL there was no competition. Even if I could have saved up enough to pay your normal annual cost in one lump for ADSL it was way to expensive. Now you have dropped your price to 399TL for 4Mb ADSL but I feel you will not get many takers when it is still 149TL more expensive than your competition!

msg 9,knowing all above, why did you still go and buy in a so called 'sun all year round' place? And why move from 1 third world country to another?Where it is also 'cheap'!

You could've easyly gone to southern part, the 'legal' part of this same island for more civilised living, where there plenty of those girls, too.

Nethouse please take note that many of us who sang your praises in the past are now very dissapointed.

We were extremly happy with our 2mb service although we sometimes had poor connection with Skype so as this is our's and many on here's lifeline to family when you offered what seemed like a very good deal of 4mb we changed our package (It was only later we were told this was an economy package and that we might get 4mb if we are lucky and mostly we do not)

We are stuck with this for sometime as we do not have the luxury of paying out for a better service from someone else but I do not recommend your service as I once did but then maybe that does not matter to your company as I thought it once did.

You will not appreciate this negative post but I think it is only right that you know I and many others feel let down by your recent service.
