Why not buy one of the little Turkish wood burners. They are not cast iron and probably won't last so long, but they really belt out the heat and are easy to remove for the summer. We bought ours for TL230 all inclusive and as we had some workmen here, they drilled a nice round hole in our wall, which we will block in the summer

We are thinking of changing ours it is one that fits into an existing fireplace reason is we are thinking of a free standing one.

Price new is 900 euroes from Akinlar if you are interested e mail me we are in Alsancak or anybody else for that matter.

they've had one in Lambousa auction for a while now, complete with loads'a pipe. Unless it got sold last Sat. Reserve was 700tl but will most likely take less, if it's still there.
