Is the Black Knight crossing, the same as Vvisoules Strovilia crossing.

For info, I used Petsas last time, as they got the insurance for me, but they are more expensive. Fontana Car Hire will let you take cars to the North and are much cheaper.

Would I be right in thinking that at about 5.30'ish at the gate, the insurance will be available?

Re: Msg 1,

Black Knight is Agios Nikolaos (Famagusta) crossing.

magmalc46,

I guess you mean Vrysoulles, which is just on the south side of the Ay Nik / Black Knight / Famagusta crossing point.

Msg 1 - but Petsas give you peace of mind if you are arriving late at night when the insurance offices are closed. An extra €10 for their administration is not a lot!

Hello again Tomsteel

The directions you gave me previously were great. Larnaca AP to Bogaz.

Directions you gave me previously were -

Motorway to Nicosia, then Ayia Napa A3.

Turn off Xylotimbou/ services sign.(This was a bit tricky, then there isn't any sign after that). Turn left and follow road until reaching Ayios Nikolais.

Over roundabout. Army base on left, continue to Black Knight crossing point.

Follow road to Famagusta,

At r/about take 2nd left and continue. Previously I agree it is peace of mind with Petsas but the cars are much more expensive. I have looked at Fontana.

I just need to know if it is safe to leave buying the additional insurance at, I think the Black Knight crossing. We will be travelling on the 3rd January - are there any holidays over this period?
