I see from today's rag that the TRNC football federation have agreed in principle to accept an offer to join the southern Cyprus fedration and thereby gain access to international recognition and fottball games..



This can only be good news for sporting connections in the TRNC...



Not sure about travelling fans though.. from what I have witnessed and read about they could be trouble... it will need a strong hand on the tiller...

Oh wonderful.

Peace on the island since 1974 and now a chance to start up hostilities again.

In the 70s it took a football match to set of a war between two central american countries (El Salvador and Honduras I believe)

As long as teams from the north and south dont actually play each other there should be no problem.
