dear members, i am planning to move to TRNC to join my husband who has been working here all these times. i have a four years old daughter. i have searched and read on the internet about some schools in TRNC but still confuse to decide which one. does anybody here can share with me which one do you think is a good school between GAU college and British Academy (ex sunny lane school)? does the British Academy apply bilingual teaching (turkish and english) or english only. and as for tuition fee can anybody give me some information for both schools. thanks.

I understand from a friend whose daughter is educated here that the English School of Kyrenia is by far the best. Not sure what age they start but it does seem to be an outstanding school. It is situated at Bellapais but there is a bus service that covers many outlying areas including as far as Karsiyaka.

How can you say a school is far the best when its only been open , what 2 years max?

I would be looking for somewhere with a good long term record of education.

Most of my Tc friends either send their kids into Lefkosa or to the south for education.

You can say that ESK is a better school if you have tried the other two - as we have!

From what I have been hearing from many parents and students, I have to agree that ESK has to be the best of the worst
