| Hello all, Hope you are having a lovely Sunday afternoon. It's one week til Christmas and if you haven't already you are probably thinking of what to watch. What is your favourite Christmas film? What do you like to watch on the big day when you are as stuffed as the Turkey you ate and you would like nothing more than to crash in front of the TV before you can get your appetite back for Christmas pudding? Personally, it has become religion at our house to watch National Lampoon's Christmas, starring Chevy Chase. And any version of the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol - which is usually one for Christmas Eve. Over to you...... | You mean apart from The Great Escape and The Italian Job? It's a Wonderful Life, I suppose. For funny ones, I think Trains and Planes and Automobiles takes some beating, also Ghostbusters and Dumb and Dumber. |

| No escape from ' white Christmas!, and 'Bambi' and Walt Disney classics, and some of the lovely old Christmas tales that bring on the tears (as in weeping, not as in tearing clothes) - but that was all when I had British TV. what can I watch here??????????????? No family to sit and laugh with, so am happy to sit and cry at the old romantic, sloppy tales all about love, joy, happiness, romance and just that magical touch of Christmas. |
