It depends on what you are looking for? Home or holiday home? Do you have kids? do you drive?

apartment, villa, traditional house?

I'm sure if you give us a little more info people can help.

Hi spokesy,

Esentepe is indeed a beautiful area and has a fantastic golf course. If you are serious about purchasing property I would contact Carringtons. The reason I say this, is because you will get a well built property and will get your title deeds when your ptp is through. Unfortunately we did not buy from them and are still waiting for our deeds after 6 years.

Buy something ready built with a title deed in owners name would be my choice if i wanted to live in Esentepe or holiday there.

Esentepe is too far away from town (a realistic 40 mins) - the only thing going on there is.................

Was a time not so long ago when the advice was do not buy a property pre-owned by GCs in case there was a settlement to the Cyprus problem, with the risk of the GC reclaiming it. As the prospect of a settlement is very remote now due to the attitude by both the South Cyprus government and the Archbishop, I would say it is an excellent time to purchase a property here.

Plenty of bargains about too.

Twas a time in todays age that it's best you don't buy anything in the TRNC or the ROC just Rent give them no money with absolutely NO risk of any Greek Cypriot or Turkish Cypriot reclaiming it! be very wary of bargains, most owners want to take the MONEY AND RUN! as far away as possible from Cypriot soil..........either North or South!
