Its a long shot I know but I have 3 neutered cats that live on my terrace that would all love to have a home of their own. Willing to pay for 1st jabs.

1 - a long haired tabby with great big eyes he is lovely, friendly & doesn't wonder far from home, if we are outside he loves to come & sit on my knee. We call him Snort because when he first came to us for food he gentley snorted if one of the other cats went near the dish! Snort has his own cat kennel now thanks to a friend he sleeps there all night.

2 - Patch is ginger and white & such a character. He loves to be petted and talked to, he does answer back! He sleeps on a chair on the terrace with his (3) - Calico coloured sister Callie, they are never far apart and really do look after each other to!

Why do I need homes for them? My young cat is jealous & gets really uptight & frightened when he wants to go out. The trio do nothing to him mind they are happy to share. Pics available email: davidandmicheleb@gmail.com

I know these are all adult cats (although no older than 12 to 14 months), but they are very friendly and loveable and would make great pets for anyone. They are happy here with me its just my young cat who has a real problem with them.

I am happy to pay for them to have the jabs they need if anyone would like to take one, two or all three. I know its a long shot but just maybe there is someone out there who would love to have them?

Hello everyone. Here is hoping someone will open their hearts and home to my garden longhaired tabby. He comes neutered and if you give him a home I will innoculate him for you to.

If he can't find a loving home he will stay with me but in the garden and its a shame as he loves to be stroked and sit on your knee. He would make someone a loving homely pet.

Still waiting for that animal lover to contact me, pictures available if you email me on davidandmicheleb@gmail.com.

All cats are neutered, longhaired tabby is lovely, friendly and desperately needs someone to love him. I am happy to pay for all his first injections in return for a loving home for him. Patch, the ginger and white cat is loveable and would make a fantastic house or garden cat to, he is very friendly and loveable. Callie the little female is shy of humans she follows Patch everywhere and they guard the garden together.

I have a really good reason for wanting a home for them all and as I said first injections are on me to anyone that can offer them a good home.

I think it is really great that over 400 people have viewed this post but as yet no-one has contacted me which is really disappointing not for me but for these lovely cats. Patch and Snort (tabby) would make great campanions for anyone either as an inside cat or a garden cat, they love their cuddles. Poor Callie has had a short but hard life with 2 sets of kittens before she was a year old when she came to me she was sin and bone but rady to have her first litter of kittens - we didn't get her neutered until she had the second set and we made sure she was speyed. She is so healthy now she is just shy of people.

So today is the day to open your hearts and think about how you could make one of these cats part of your home. I don't think you would be sorry. I will be sad to see them go but happy if they go to a good and loving home. Please make contact if you would like to see one of them.

Thanks and Happy New Year to all.

Please don't be offended because no-one has responded to your message. The fact is that the TRNC is awash with cats wanting new homes (or even their first home).

I'm not offended really just trying to keep this message current. I was thinking maybe someone who has lost a cat and wants an older cat might consider one of them. They are all such characters and so loveable. Our back terrace is their home I have 2 kennels to keep them dry and warm. When all 3 of them arrived they were skin and bone and I just couldn't not feed them!

The tabby is really beautiful he has gone from a scaggy looking short haired when he first arrived to a beautiful long haired with big green eyes, if it weren't for the fact that my cat has to sneak in (he is frightened of them non of them have attempted to hurt him), I would keep them all and if there is no takers then that might just be the case.

Thanks for helping me keep this current tango1 much appreciated.

Please read messages from the top.

These cats all come free to a good home/homes. Believe me no other cats will come searching for food while they are at home. After 625 hits on this I was hoping at least 1 person would email me. The tabby has to be seen to understand why he is so loveable, there isn't a mean bone in his body and I mean that (its goes for them all really I guess his shaggy coat makes him stand out). For a good home I am willing to pay for his/their innoculations to make sure he/they stay healthy.

I have now sent pictures to the Dutchcrusader - thanks for doing this for me Hans.

I hope someone will take a shine to one or more of these lovely cats, honest they have been with me since they were older kittens, arrived starving and skin and bone but when you see the pictures you will see how well they all look. I do hope someone will take a shine and get in touch.

Hi Jean

Nothing yet but thanks for checking out the thread. I will remain hopeful that I can find them homes. I wouldn't even try if they weren't worthy of a home of their own but I think they would all make someone a perfect pet and I am not just saying that to get rid of them either. I will have mixed feeling when/if they go.

An update on the 3 cats:

Sadly, Callie the little female is not available for rehoming, she is happy to be stroked and fed and is no bother at all but she cannot be handled at all. All the trauma's she has had in her short life have affected her I think.

The longhaired tabby has been renamed (SID) and along with Patch now has a pet passport and has been microchipped and had their first rabies injection. I am happy to continue these and also pay for them to have their blood tests done for anyone that can give them a good home. So anyone thinking of going back to the UK after May this year would be able to take them home with them.

This is a record for me I have now had 1000 hits on this thread. Sadly no takers but if anyone has a friend that would be interested in taking one or both of these cats please ask them to get in touch with me (may not have access to the forum or the internet).

Thanks again to all that are keeping this thread alive.

Hi. Lionel and Moxie. Thanks for your messages. Callie came to me when she was just a kitten herself and heavily pregant, she was practically skin and bone, lost her first litter - 1 found dead. I went back to the UK came caught Callie but too far gone with kittens! I marked the day she disappeared on my calendar and prepared to catch her to be speyed! I've had Callie now for about 9 months - 6 of those full time.

Callie is in lovely condition now, she is wormed and speyed you can stroke her if you approach her gently but she is easily frightened and hides! She is always there for her food. If you are willing to take her Moxie that would be great. She gets on great with Patch and with Sid. She is a small cat as well. If you give me a call lets see what we can arrange. My number is 0533 844 8146

Message 17 gives you the link to the pictures of all 3 of these cats. I have also cut and pasted the link below for anyone interested in seeing them.

It would be lovely if someone came along and could give Callie a home, I have tried everything I can to get her to the vet to be innoculated against rabies so we can take her with us. Once I stopped trying to catch her she reverted to her happy self! I am not stopping my efforts to gain her trust but I am still hoping someone can offer her a home.

Hi. We're back trying to find Callie a home. Just got an email from the Spanish cheif vet apologising for his mistake telling me all of Cyprus is treated the same as far as they are concerned. In fact the rules are the same as for the UK! So I maybe don't have the luxury of time I thought I had.

Having said that we aren't going anywhere soon so no worries or rush just yet it's more important to find a good home for her than any home. In the meantime I will continue to encourage her to be friendly and maybe one day I will be able to get her in a carrier and off to the vet if some kind person doesn't come forward. She is fed well and happy and that is the main thing now - but if anyone feels they could love her as a garden cat please get in touch we would love to hear from you.

I am no longer looking for a new home for any of these cats. I am keeping them all and when we leave we hope we can take them all with us. They are part of the family now and my cat is learning to live with them all in the garden thankfully!

I have a problem and hope that someone can give me some advice. Its about Callie. I have tried and tried to pick her up to take her to the vet to start the process to take her out of NC but she won't have it at all. She is as good as gold when she is stroked and will even come over to me to be stroked but as soon as she feels threatened she is off like a shot!

My problem is that it isn't just once I need to put her in a carrier it is at least 3 times over the period of a month!
