Wow, what a guy. An inspiration to all. Also a good lesson in the power of faith. I don't share his faith, I don't want to share his faith or believe in his God but do I believe that his faith helps him be the man he is? Absolutely. Do I believe that his faith makes him any less of an inspirational character to me. Absolutely not.

As I said, What a guy

Sometimes some people leave you speechless. Today it's this guy.

Yesterday was the mother of the newly born two headed baby, in Brazil, who is so delighted with her new baby.

Humbling indeed!

Oops, could hardly see the video for the tears, which I must now go and wash away as I go out into the world, but thanks to this guy with a renewed thanks for who I am, where I am, what I am, and what I may be able to do . How easy to forget what we have! Innit?

But where does this guy live. sounds Aussie to me. And I wonder if he was a thalidomide baby, as he seems about the same age as my daughter, and had I taken drugs she could have been. And I would have felt guilty, but if she, or any of us, had a soul like him, then we would have a treasure beyond measure.

thanks for posting this, Newlad.

Steven Sewell That comment of yours was unnecessary. I cant help think that you have brought this thread to as low a level as is perceived possible. You comment is appalling.

For those who have not realised the vulgarity of his comment, in gutter language it refers to masterbation.

Message 11

I think we are all aware of what he meant, we should pity someone who has such a limited awareness of what really matters in life, or who feels the need to lower the tone of most postings on here.

As for the guy in the video, what a wake up call to all of us who moan about trivial little things, he is amazing and an inspiration to the rest of us.

Stubbs

Hold on a second, i was the first to give the guy praise. Its true hes still a man with man feelings, he was still a testosterone fueled teenager, can you imagine how hard that must have been. I stated it was not a joke. Hattkins your obviously not bright enough to even comment, stubbs it seems everyone is always upset with your comments. The difference is i say it as it is, and as a man of the similar age i no would must be tough. Stop ruining threads by trying to make yourselves look good. Its about him not you.

Yes Marion, he was born in 1982 in Melbourne, Australia. Here's the link to his lifestory http://www.attitudeisaltitude.com/aboutus-nick.php. His mum was a nurse and his dad a pastor, sounds like he was one of lifes little miracles, born to give inspiration to others.

Harold, msg 6, why do you mention 'his' God or his faith? He doesn't talk about faith through religion. And besides, there is only one God isn't there, there's no such thing as his God or her God, we all have the same God looking after us.

Could be aethiest i suppose, yes.

In answer to your question though Steve, no there isn't Steve, there's only one God. Any others are human made gods (little 'g', of use to noone).

To know what God expects from you I suggest you take the time to read the books sent by him through his prophets - the Torah, Gospel or Q'uran. But that is of course, only if you're truly interested. You are an adult capable of making your own decisions and if that is to ignore the messages sent down to us by God, then it'll be up to you to try to argue your point and try to justify yourself to your maker when you meet him. No one can help you then, especially the 'man made' gods. God will reward you appropriately for what you have done while on this earth. It's up to you ...

Thanks Pippie. i will look up the web page. it would be great to speak with him when I am in Oz, and I will find out if any of my friends in the church know him or of him. I guess he has a real faith to live by, especially if his father is a pastor. No he doesn't talk about his faith on the video, but it is obviously that he has a great perspective on life that often comes with an understanding of divine purpose for life - his and theplanets.

As to the argument about God - well now I would be happy to discuss it for hours, seeing as I struggled at uni to try to uncover more truth than I had previously known and ended up with a B.D. (which does NOT stand for Blooming Daft - even if some folk think that it does!)

But you cannot detract from the inspiration that the guy is.
