This forum used to be interesting. Full of people who cared enough to get into heated debates. Admittedly things got out of hand from time to time but at least it was genuinely interesting.Now it's like a village notice board !!

I suspect some have been banned because they went over the top and in their excitement broke the basic rules necessary in any forum.

I agree with msg1 it used to be a lovely site but I am now very cautious of who I reply to.

The trouble is one started or responded to an interesting topic only to find it hijacked by someone offensive. ... and it was offputting. I am glad its been cleaned up a bit, even if it is a little flat at the moment.



Now need to build up confidence and encourage people with interesting minds to contribute. Good luck to it.



And dont forget right now people are aware for or concentrating on the season.

Unfortunately, the forum has been spoiled by those who post adverts as topics. It's off putting to have to wade through the rubbish to try and find an interesting post. I agree life on the forum is not helped by those who are nasty and vindictive to anyone who dares to voice an opinion that is not in agreement with their own especially anyone who does not have rose tinted spectacles.

Despite PB's slow server connection (msg 38), I agree that skimmed milk and some of the doggie posts do not always 'float my boat', but the more interesting debates do tend to get rather personal or hijacked and then closed down by the Admin team who have an impossible task in those circumstances.



Msg 32, I disagree and wish Mike all the best with whatever life and company he has chosen, notwithstanding it was an off-thread bit of banter between two posters.
