Weather permitting, there will be a market at Carpenters tomorrow. Then we will be taking a break until Friday 13th of January. Superstitious?????? Nah! Not us!!!!

On behalf of all the stall holders I would just like to say a happy Christmas and a very happy new year to all of you who have supported us in the past. I am in regular contact with Maureen, she is still fighting the fight and is delighted that we are keeping the market going in her absence.

I dear, the weather forecast for tomorrow is awful and I was hoping Tina Pashmina would be there. I'll just have to hope it doesn't pour down until the afternoon.

Weather permitting we will be there with the KUSKOR calendars and SPOT stall, also selling loads of homemade marmalade varieties including a Christmas special Scotch Whisky Old English Orange Marmalade... yummy

Weather permitting, Tina will be there, plus Dawn with her Pandora bracelets/beads and other jewellry.

Ilhan will be there with his dvds, cards and computer games. The plant lady also said she will be there. No Ken though (the pie man).



Last minute presents and cards for everyone........so don't panic, yet !!!

Unfortunately I can not be there with my pictures as I have to take Mike to the hospital, but I do hope that the rain holds off until later in the day! Inshallah! All the best to the rest of you, I hope you have a good morning, see you in 2012.

Hello Gunnamatta,

Carpenters market is situated in the garden of the Carpenters restaurant at Karaoglanoglu. It is one of the oldest established markets in the Girne area, long before all the others jumped on the band wagon. It is only small, the stall holders pride themselves on offering quality goods and arts and crafts, rather than the boot sale type of product. Not that I am saying there is anything wrong with boot sales, but that is not what we do.

Unfotunately we are ruled by the weather as we are outdoors and it seems as though the weather today has beaten us. However, if you do decide to come and have a look in the new year, we should be back in business on Frday 13th Jan. Weather permitting!

What happened. I got there around noon (after a shower oor two) and there was no onde there. Did it start? Or was it called off? anywaY, sorry I missed you all to say Happy Christtmas.
