After reading an excellent article in Living Magazine on the new restaurant ibelli in the Turkish Quarter we decided to visit them for lunch. What a treat it was too. Beautiful decor, outstanding food and excellent service.

Now I know others on the Forum have already stated that the prices are higher than most places but in fairness for the standard and quality it is worth every TL. Lunch for 3, 3 courses, 1 coffee, 1 bottle of water and 2 bottles of Blush Pino Grigio averaged at 77 TL per person.

It was a special occasion for us and granted we will not be frequenting every week we shall have no hesitation to return in the future. The Courtyard will be perfect for alfresco dining in the summer.

Emiliano and Caterina we wish you good luck with your new venture.

It is the former Sele restaurant in the heart of the old Turkish quarter of Kyrenia. Does that help? Can't otherwise describe it, but maybe someone can.

Fully agree, fabulous food cooked with "passion", certainly recommend this restaruant. If you get the chance watch the pizza bases being made, great entertainment.
