Credit where credit is due - Thank you Kemal and Multimax. We had our new installation last Monday 19/01/2011 and although there was a problem due to late delivery of parts we were up and running by Monday eve. We have been with all the other ISPs here and were pretty much expecting the same service - although hoping for better. As soon as the service was connected we could see the difference in internet speed. However we had a problem with ITV/Ch4 and Ch5 viewing. We contacted Multimax via their online support - their online response was fast, courteous and helpful. They were not able to resolve the problem from there so passed the problem on to Kemal. It was explained that there may be a delay whilst he worked out waht the problem was. 2 days later 2 engineers came and liased with Kemal over the phone wilst seeing the problem in situ. Half and hour later - problem solved. Then yesterday we encountered another problem with ITV. Again Kemal relayed info and explained what was ----ctd

happening and what he was doing. He then contacted us to say it was a problem with ITV itself and had now been restored. Great just in time for Downton Abbey Xmas Special !!!!!

It is so refreshing here to have a company who explain, to their customers, what is happening (even if they cannot solve the problem immediately) and to keep lines of contact open.

Thank you Multimax and Kemal - if the service that we have had thus far is anything to go by then you far far exceed your competitors and deserve every success.

yes finally a company (multimax) managed to get enough signal here and connected wireless at the east side. We hope our guests will also enjoy wireless here at ŞİNYA.

They connected it yesterday and it was very good, but today I couldn't connect internet via wireless, was there any problem? now I'm using my poor dongle again

I have investigated the incident @msg3 and found it to be multimax fault. I apologize Mr Yusuf here publicly and thank him for his generous understanding.

Normally when we open a new customer account it is opened for 1 day for customers whose payment is due to be collected on site. Any payments received in a given day is then brought to the office the next day and office staff extends subscriptions accordingly. Mr. Yusuf was installed on Saturday afternoon and paid for this first month of service but the office was already closed. The office person should have predicted this and opened all of these accounts on a saturday for 2 days instead of 1 (as we were always doing). This oversight while creating Mr. Yusuf's account has caused his account to 'expire' today.

The problem is now rectified and proper warnings are sent to the people responsible so they are more careful next time.

Thank you for your explanation Kemal, I think this post made some procedures more clear now.

Could you please inform me whether it is easy to upgrade for higher speed if needed. Now it is enough for us, but we may need higher speed during high season.

@Yudu392, upgrading speeds are easy and straightforward, everything is managed electronically, we can even do it over the telephone.

Thanks erolz for the correct link on prices.
