I seem to remember a post on here saying that the hunting season finishes today, 26th December. Can anyone confirm this or is this incorrect?

I think this in incorrect. I think it finishes on 31st December which will mean the last day of shooting is Saturday. This is only my thought and it needs checking out with local "hunters"

According to dates published in local paper ages ago, 31st Dec is the last day for hunting this year. No published dates for hunting for 2012 yet so expect that the season ends in Dec.



I always check because of walking the dogs in the hills so fairly sure there will be no more hunting after 31st.

I asked a local who goes hunting. Last day of season is Saturday 31 December.
