My friend is looking for a bread maker. She has tried Techmar, but this model is too big as she is on her own and only needs a small loaf daily. No success at Arcilik either.

Thanks Metin and Maggy May, will do as you suggest.

Deniz 1, the lady who wants the machine fell and broke both wrists 2 years ago, this has left them very weak and it takes some strength to knead bread dough.

as a follow on to message 5...it not only takes away the power that is needed to knead the dough, it also makes delicious flavoured breads...I've only had mine for a week...but i wouldn't give it up for love nor money!!

I gave mine away as the breads that you can buy here here are just so lovely.

Also the fluctuating power affected the bread makers performance.

I don't miss mine in the least, but good luck with the search.

Message 7: I agree too frustrating with the power cuts and so much thrown away mid way through the making of the bread to be of any pleasure, which it was when we used ours every day in the UK making all sorts of bread. Once we have full power again who knows but we do like the bread here and it is so much cheaper as well than UK prices. ~Good luck with yours though!

If you don't get fixed up, try the electricals stall at Açmenya market in Alsancak tomorrow (11-3) or Chateau Lambousa in Lapta on Saturday morning.
