I also found it just before we headed to England for our Christmas hols. It is in a squeezy bottle and my husband did not think that it's right. I found it in Famagusta Lemar

The Marmite is a french earthenware cooking pot (casserole) - I think there is a picture on the label - it is pronounced Marmitae (cannot do the accent on this typewriter) but Marmite for the English is good enough I suppose. Source? My old mother in law, bless her.

Martin D41, ...The British Version is a by-product of Beer Brewing, a Yeast Extract.



Marmite was originally supplied in Earthenware pots, but since the 1920s has been sold in those little glass jars..



Men should love it, as its a beer by product! ....

mayflower curry sauce,made in the uk,simply nothing better,got it once in tempo,but never to be seen again,its in box form,anyone find it let me know,cheers
