Now we're over Christmas and New Year, the car boot market is back for everyone this Sunday 8th. I'm sure either Barbie or Mo will come on here with telephone numbers to contact to book a table. Certainly worth a visit for both sellers and customers, to get a variety of bargains, books, jewellery, DVD's , house clearance, etc. etc. etc.

Thank you Stella, yes Mo will be posting something later today, and Jodienion no you don't have to bring your own table, but it is first come, first served on the tables, so will pay to arrive around 7.50 ish. Hope to see you all there.

It is coming in a straight line south from Moscow through Turkey and over to us...when it hits, I don't know. Hopefully after 1pm tomorrow.

Allietoo the boot fair is the most fun place to be on a Sunday, everyone is always smiling (shining), there is no way it will be hit by rain tomorrow (inshalla), and if it does well our smiley faces will still be there, lots of bookings tomorrow, which means lots of bargains, so come on down!

Boot fare on today pop along to get your bargains. Something from Arifs kitchen, burgers or nice cup of coffee.

PlayStation Games, X box 360 games all originals, latest DVDs 3 for 10TL, Children's books etc.

Just a quick message to say thanks to Mo and Barbara for keeping the rent fee at 5tl today for stallholders. Despite the intention to increase the fee to 10tl in 2012 they decided that to keep moral high today because of the 'iffy' weather and lack of customers they wouldn't make any increase. Then of course the sun came out and so did lots of customers to follow, so the morning turned out bright for everyone in every way.

And for anyone who missed it, we were also entertained by one of the stallholders doing some busking, hopefully he'll be there again next week. What more do you want, music while you shop!

Thank you to all the stall holders and customers for their wonderful support, we could not do this without you.

The entertainment was fantastic by one of the stall holders and we really look forward to seeing him again.

I totally agree it was a good day the rain stayed off and the live entertainment put a smile on everyone's face thank you Mo and Barb for only charging 5TL. Hope to see more people next week sellers and buyers come along and pick up a great bargain.

As usual I missed out! Arriving after 11a.m. and most had gone which was a shame, apart from the lone guitar with the big voice. But one thing I learned as to where I am missing out is that you need to be there at 8 or 8 30 to get the bargains. They are snapped up by knowing locals and (possibly) dealers! the big question remains 'could Marion possibly unhinge herself from her comfy bed to get a bargain she may not want?' Maybe she will leave them for you. But get there early or you will miss out too.

Thanks Maggymay and Marion, your support means a lot to us all, it was a really happy morning for all yesterday, and we are hoping our new friend (the guitar player with the big voice) graces us with his entertainment next week.

Thanks also go to all the booter's who braved the threatened weather to come and sell their wares and of course the brave visitors too.

Just to remind everyone it is now 10TL a boot to enable us to carry on with advertising and improvements to the site.
