Can you not use a PC with a web cam and get your family to do the same. Thats how I keep in touch with my grandchildren who live quite a distance away, it makes them feel a little bit closer to you, especially at this time of year.

hi hattikins i am trying to get them to download skyle, i have bought a camera so hopefully they will now, i could sail thrugh working xmas and new year just to see them its hard isnt it when you are away, i get too emotional this time of year for various reasons and feel im not there to help out when they need me but hey we will do our best to give everyone a great day. you have a good xmas and the very best of peace and love to all for new year xx

yeah, that is a trek. Can you not go back for a week or something to make it more worth while. If not, Hatti is spot on with teh web cam thing... I use this all teh time to keep in touch with the Relly's!

My son in law is the worlds worst when it comes to anything to do with computers but even he managed to download skype, it only takes a couple of minutes and he was really chuffed with his little self, bless him. It does make a big difference though when you can actually see the children, and they can see you so that keeps the bond going despite the distance between you.

Lilli this time tomorrow i will be with my little ones if only for 4 days. Last christmas my son set up the webcam in their lounge and i sat here in mine watching them open their presents made them feel so much closer, might be worth suggesting to your family!!!!!
