The TRNC Villa Owners Fundraising Committe are proud to announce the final figure raised at their Christmas fundraiser on Friday 5th December at the Hotel Sempati.

A fantastic £3602.00.

We would like to thank all the people who attended and made the night such a fantastic success.

Without you we could not have done it and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You should

be very proud of yourselves.

We would like to thank all the business's and individuals who kindly donated and a special thanks to Naomi Mehmet for her generous cheque of £1000.00.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all

With thanks from

Hi Stewy

The money raised will go to the SOS project children. These children

are from very poor families throughout TRNC who live in very bad conditions many without heating and water.

We will work closely with Nuket the project leader and purchase items that

are necessary such as clothing, beds, basic need items, school books and uniforms, ,medical care.

We continually collect items of clothing and bedding for the families. We also accept items such as rugs pots and pans etc. These are all the basic items that we take for granted but to these families and children they are luxuries.

This money will make such a difference to these children and their families.

Very well done.....brilliant result.

Hubby and I went and had an enjoyable evening.

Thought the linedancer's were really good.

Good to see people making such a big effort for those less fortunate.

Well done SCG.

You mentioned that the charity buys various things for the children.

Would it be an idea to post the items that Villa Owners could bring over?

You could post the things that are in short supply, i.e. once a month.

With a wish list on the board, people could pick off the things they donate.

I would like to bring something over as we visit about 3 times a year but I would appreciate some suggestions, of what you may need.

Hope you don't mind my suggestion after you've done so well.

Delighted with your suggestion.

Next week we are going to Lefkosia to give the secret santa parcels to the children and I will discuss this with the committee and also to the SOS organisation.

We are grateful for every type of help that we get.

Many thanks for your suggestion

Regards

Sassy
