Before I list the winning numbers, Carole and I would like to say a few ‘BIG’ thank you’s:



To all our sponsors who all generously gave such wonderful prizes and sponsored the raffle tickets.



To all our friends who helped us sell so many tickets.



To all of you that bought tickets and helped us raise 13,135 TL.



But that’s not the total because the Little Society of Kyrenia heard what we had achieved with your help and donated a further 865TL which allowed us to present a cheque of 14,000TL to Raziye Kocaismail, founder and chairperson of the Association.



We then raised a further 778TL during the raffle on our tea and coffee morning whilst the draw took place!



So a huge thank you from Carole and I to everyone who helped us achieve this fantastic figure and look out for the next raffle at the end of year!

Well done girls. checked my numbers and see sold a wnning ticket - but not to myself! Ho hum!

Didn't you do well. But I reckon on an hourly rate, you would have earned about 50kours an hour. You worked so hard, but it is wonderful that so many people will be helped by your efforts. If I could give out gold medals, I would put you top of the list. Unfortunately, that is not within my abilitiy, but I do hope that you are rewarded in some way for all the caring you show for others.

I can't stop saying 'thank you' to everyone I meet because if you had not bought the tickets we would not have raised 14,000TL so please congratulate yourselves as well.



What's next ........ that would be telling!

Oh come on scoobydoo you can tell me, I promise not to tell a soul, but seriously you and Carol did work so very hard and deserve all the praise in the world for your determination to make this massive contribution to this worthwhile charity. So take a moment to also pat yourself on the back and spend some you time with your husband before this next venture takes place, and also make sure Carol does too. Just learned that a person to whom i sold a ticket won a Ferry ticket to turkey. Her husband is worried asw to whether it is a single or a return!!!!!
