| can anyone help i have lost the sound on kibriz ada tv ,i watch it through a smart rapido 11 digital satellite receiver .
it was ok till last week when it just went ,i know the transponder changed too
12685 h 3000 and i have deleted the old one and still no joy.
has anyone encountered the same problem.

| I have two receivers at home. One receives it perfectly and the other one sometimes it has sound and sometimes it does not. The funny thing is that it is the more expensive double tuner with a hard disc having the problem. However, you will not believe this, the recording is fine. So if I want to watch Ada TV, I press the record button and then I start the playback, so I watch it about 5-10 seconds behind i.e I do a timeshift. My sister had a similar problem, so its not only you and me.
I suggest you enter the full details and do a search again which may cure the problem: 12685, H, Fec 30000, 5/6, Audio Pid 215, Video Pid 216 and PCR 215.

yes a few and some on the ada frequecy ,when i switched on the tv on saturday morning it came on and the sound was working ,then i switched the channel to brt ,then switched back almost straight away ,and it was gone again .
there are lots of channels on there,but i only watch the cyprus ones.

| ismet abi my friend lives four doors away from me and he gets sound.

This is a long shot but worth trying..
There should be an audio button on the remote..This button is used to change the audio channel transmitted with the video...
It is used when a programme is transmitted in more than one language...
It is possible that this is on the wrong setting cos once you set it and exit the box remembers that setting and uses that as default...
If it fails,i suggest you delete the channel & transponder and scan/save the channel again.. |

Another thing to do is to check the version of the software and see if there is a newer one on the internet. Its worth a try.
