I noticed this ad in Cyprus Today, it,s for SUNNYCYPRUS.COM. Does anyone have this and would you recommend it. I am finding my present provider a bit expensive and this sounds like a good deal. Too good to be true?

I believe it's more like 1 - 2 miles from the exchange. Also, you have to pay the Telecommunications Company a few TL each month. I think it's about 12 -15TL for 4Mbs pm.

The ADSL market is very competitive. I think Firsat Kibris had a company that was offering 50TL pa for the same speed a few months back.

Also, repairs are quite quick.

The only difficulty is when you ring to say there is a problem, whether it's with the exchange or the Internet supplier, it takes so long to explain that you are on ADSL not wireless! It's because they do not have (m)any English speaking customers with a land line.

PS. It helps if your TC neighbour works in the Telecommunications Company. Who said it's not who you know,,,,,
